personally I think that i have achieved my goal for this term. my children's dram project was pretty successful and I am proud of the work and effort I contributed to the finished project. I found that editing was my strongest point and I am happy with what i achieved. After writing the script myself I felt like I had control over the project and took on the leader role.
I am happy that i managed to hand in all my written work in time with the deadlines. Although I am overall happy with the outcome of the project I found that there were some slight mishaps which could have been avoided along the way such as:
. lack of communication with team mates.
.change of location due to weather which deteriatted quality.
. Filming took place on firework night so locations were restricted due to the noise, made it difficult to arrange filming.
There were some minor slip ups when filming, such as in certain shots you can see the boom mic blatantly in shot which Ifound hard to edit out. There were a few retaken shots because of messing around which got frustrating at times, it did help with the chemistry of the actors but we were under quite a tight schedual and I wanted to get it done. Some of the locations we were forced to change due to the owner of the house falling ill before filming excluding us from disturbing them whilst filming. I will most definatley learn from these mistakes in my next projet.
